December 2016 Haul — December 22, 2016

December 2016 Haul

Hey! It’s time to share my December Haul with you! Heads up, this won’t include any beauty products I receive for Christmas, I plan on doing a separate mini Haul post for that. Let’s jump in!

Wet n Wild Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner in Black: hate this. Just a total mess.

Inglot Pure Pigment Eyeshadow in 82: beautiful. Here’s a swatch (although I can’t capture the beauty):

Inglot Pure Pigment Eyeshadow in 86: also beautiful. And here’s a picture (still doesn’t do it justice):

AG Haircare Sterling Silver Toning Shampoo: to keep the brassiness at bay

Ardell Mega Volume Lashes in 251: wanted to love these. So crazy for Ardell. But couldn’t stand them once I got them on. They are double stacked, but the top layer is curled, and the bottom layer is straight, so it looks weird.

Red Cherry Eyelashes #415: love how wispy and long these are. Kind of an everyday for me. Which I know is obnoxious.

Red Cherry Eyelashes #523: same. Still live these for everyday.

L’Oréal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation in Natural Buff: this is a replacement bottle. Love, love, love this stuff.

LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Natural: also a replacement. My go to, everyday concealer

Morphe 06F: always good to have multiple colors of pressed powders on hand. I’ve been using the to contour a bit.

Morphe 35E: I mean come on, never too many Morphe palettes, right?

Morphe 35N: still never too many.

Morphe 35P palette: and still never too many.

Morphe 9BZ palette: for all kinds of sun kissed looks.

SkinRx Lab MadeCera Express Mask: because sheet masks, duh!

SkinRx Lab MadeCera Cream: because of the ceramides mostly.

Leaders Insolution Daily Wonders What Happened Last Night? Radiance Revitalizing Mask: again. Sheet masks, duh!

Floss Gloss Pro Nail Lacquer in Candy Paint Job: first, because Floss Gloss is life. Second, because this new color is everything.
And that’s all for this month! See you Saturday!

Face of the Day  — December 17, 2016

Face of the Day

Hey! So, I’ve been playing with the Inglot Pigments again. This one looks a bit different in real life, but I couldn’t get it to photograph that way.

Anyway, let’s start with prep. I threw on some Lip Smart Powerful Hydration for Lips. I primed my eyes with a Sigma e58 and some NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone. I also Primer my face with Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer.

Now a step by step walk through on the eyes.

I used a Sigma e40 to blend in some Secret from the Violet Voss Drenched Metal palette as a transition shade.

Next, I used a Real Techniques Domed Shadow Brush to apply some Livin from the Violet Voss Drenched Metal palette into the crease, but really blown out.

Now to get a bit more exciting. I used a Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush to deepen up the color with some Forbidden from the Violet Voss Drenched Metal palette.

Along my lower lash line, I used a Real Techniques Accent Brush to sweep some Huntess from the Violet Voss Drenched Metal palette.

Then, I used a Sigma e55 to pat in some Inglot Pure Pigment in 82.

Now on to the face. I covered any redness with LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Green Corrector. I also used a Morphe m439 to even out my skin tone using some L’Oréal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation in Natural Buff.

Now for a bit of definition. I used an e.l.f. Cosmetics Contour Brush and some LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Toast to cream contour. I also used some LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Natural to cream highlight and conceal under my eyes. I then blended the crap out of that with a Beauty Blender.

Then, I set all that cream with a Morphe e41 and some Ben Nye Pretty Pink Translucent Powder. I also bronzed some using a Sigma f40 and some Palladio Matte Bronzer in Teeny Bikini.

To add some color, I used a Sigma f15 to sweep in the top right color from the Morphe 9B palette.

Now for the glow! My personal favorite part of any look. I used a Morphe m310 to load on a few different highlights. First and second, Dose of Colors Baked Highlighters in Pearl Dust and in Peach Glow. I then layered in some Milani Runway Eyes Eyeshadow in Girls Luv Pink.

And the brows. Can’t leave those undone. I used my Anastasia Duo Brush 7 to fill them in and shape them with some NYX Eyebrow Gel in Chocolate.

I then set everything with some Ben Nye Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer and a prayer. I also applied some Palladio Double Agent Faux Lash Effect mascara.

I finished off the look with some Violet Voss Liquid Lipstick in Muse.

And that’s all for today. I’ll see you for Mani Monday!

Morphe 35N Swatches — December 15, 2016

Morphe 35N Swatches

As you can probably tell by this posts title, today I thought I’d share swatches from the Morphe 35N palette.

This is the top row. Super neutral. Lots of good colors for browbone highlighting and light crease definition.

Second row. More neutrals with that one random pink shade. It kind of pops out there, doesn’t it?

Third row. Now we are getting into a bit more fun colors. Pink and purples with one grey shade. Which, by the way, I don’t think enough palettes include greys.

Fourth row. And back to mostly neutral shades. I am loving that deeper purple shade, though.

And the bottom row. I’m also glad they included a couple of shades of black.

I’ll see you Saturday with a new Face of the Day post.
