Hey! Today I thought I’d share with you where like most of my paychecks went.

In-gredients Charcoal Peel Off Mask: um, because charcoal peel off mask. Duh.

Peter Thomas Roth Acne Clear Invisible Dots: just in case.

Face of the Day  — March 25, 2017

Face of the Day

Hey! So I got this new pigment from Inglot and had to play with it a bit. This is the look I came up with for you.

I started by blending the brown shade from my L’Oréal Wear Infinité Eyeshadow Quad in Aishwarya’s Greens into my crease with a Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush.

Next, I dampened an e.l.f. Cosmetics Professional Eyeshadow Brush with some Mehron Mixing Liquid and used that to pat some Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadow in 85 onto my eyelids.

Now on to the face. I used to Smashbox Liner Brush to sketch out some lines for contouring with Jouer Perfector in Chestnut. Then, of course, I blended til my arms ached with my Beauty Blender.

I then did some cream highlighting and concealing with LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Natural and Light Ivory. Then I put my Beauty Blender back to work.

To set all that, I swept on some Ben Nye Fair Translucent Powder with a Morphe e41. I also did some contouring with a Sigma f40 and some Anastasia Contour Powders in Fawn and Java. I then got another arm workout blending with a Morphe m530.

To add some cheek color, I applied some Maybelline Pure Blush in Pure Raisin using a Sigma f15. I also added some glow with a Morphe m310 and Violet Voss Pro Highlighting Powder in Moon Gleam.

Now that the the powders are all done, it’s time for brows. I got the shape down with an Anastasia Duo Brush 7 and some NYX Cosmetics Eyebrow Gel in Chocolate. I then finished them up with the same brush and some NYX Cosmetics Eyebrow Powder in Dark Brown. I then cleaned up the edges with a Sigma e58 and some NYX Cosmetics Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone. (I know it’s weird, but it’s been working for me lately. It’s so creamy, it blends like a dream.)

I then sprayed myself with some Ben Nye Final Seal Matter Makeup Sealer. I don’t usually need to use a setting spray this time of year, but I had a long day of work ahead of me.

I threw on some Palladio Double Agent Faux Lash Effect mascara. I also threw on some Ardell Wispies with some Duo Eyelash Adhesive. To finish it off, I swept on some NYX Cosmetics Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in Exotic.

And that’s all! I’ll see you for Mani Monday!

Let’s Talk Holika Holika Pig-nose Clear Black Head 3-step Kit — March 16, 2017

Let’s Talk Holika Holika Pig-nose Clear Black Head 3-step Kit

Okay. So I know. We’ve all tried nose strips. But I swear these Holika Holika Pig-nose Clear Black Head 3-step Kits are different.

The first step resembles a pore strip, but is more like a sheet mask. This step helps open up the pores and draw stuff to the surface.

The next step is more of a traditional nose strip. This will pull stuff out.

The last step helps tighten and close the pores, to help prevent future blackheads.

I love these! They really are worth giving a shot!

Face of the Day  — March 11, 2017

Face of the Day

Hey guys! Since Spring is almost over, I figured I’d throw in one more look that’s a little on the darker side. Here’s how I threw it together for you!

I started by using an old Smashbox Liner Brush to harshly trace out where I wanted to cream contour and bronze using Jouer Perfector in Chestnut. I then went to town crazily blending that in with a dampened Beauty Blender.

To cream highlight, I started by applying alternating shades of L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Natural and Light Ivory. Then I once again blended until my arm hurt with that same Beauty Blender.

To set all that, I grabbed my giant, fluffy Morphe e41 and dusted on some Ben Nye Fair Translucent Powder.

To heighten the bronze-y contour, I used a Sigma f40 to sweep on some Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Powder in Fawn. I once again blended, this time with a Morphe m530.

For a bit of color, I applied some MAC Sheertone Blush in Spring Sheen. Then guess what! I blended some more! But this time with a Real Techniques Multi Task Brush.

Now for the glow! I actually layered three highlighters today. (I know. I have a problem.) I used a Sigma e30 to hit the tear duct areas, and a Morphe m310 to hit my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose. I started with Dose of Colors Baked Highlighter in Peach Glow. I layered in some Inglot Sparkling Dust for Face, Eyes and Body in 03. I topped all that deliciousness with Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Illuminati. (I already admitted I have a problem.)

Now for brows. As usual, I got down the general shape I was looking for with NYX Cosmetics Eyebrow Gel in Chocolate. I then filled in areas that are sparser with NYX Cosmetics Eyebrow Powder in Dark Brown. For both, I used my trusty Anastasia Beverly Hills Duo Brush 7.

I then cleaned up the edges with a Sigma e58. Lately I’ve been using something a bit out of the norm. I’ve been loving how NYX Cosmetics Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone has been working for me. Trust me, try it! It’s less harsh then concealer, and even though it’s not exactly my color, it blends in so beautifully you can’t even tell!

For Liner, I threw on a quick wing with NYX Cosmetics Studio Liquid Liner in Extreme Smokey Gray. I like how this looks a bit less harsh than black can be sometimes.

To shellac that all in place, I hosed down in some Ben Nye Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer.

To prep for falsies, I applied some Palladio Double Agent Faux Lash Effect mascara. Then, as usual, I used some Duo Eyelash Adhesive to put on some Ardell Wispies.

Finally, to vamp it up some, I threw on some L.A. Splash Cosmetics Studio Shine Lip Lustre in Valentina.

That’s it for today! See you for Mani Monday!

Face of the Day  — March 4, 2017

Face of the Day

Hey! So today I wanted to do a little pop of color for you! Here’s how I got this look.

I started by fighting the dreaded oil slick look with NYX Cosmetics Shine Killer. I also prepped my eyes by slapping one some NYX Cosmetics Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone with a Sigma e58.

For a transition shade, I used a Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush to apply the color Clover from the Vera Mona Lotus Eyeshadow Palette. I defined the crease a tad with a Sigma e30 and Celosia from the same palette.

Next, I dampened an e.l.f. Cosmetics Professional Eyeshadow Brush with some Mehron Mixing Liquid and used that to pat some Ben Nye Lumiere Luxe Powder in Persimmon on to my eyelids. I also threw on some Palladio Double Agent Faux Lash Effect mascara.

Now, to move on to the face. I used a Morphe m439 Bruah to buff in some Inglot Cream Foundation in 43. Next I cream highlighted and contoured using a Bare Mineral Max Coverage Concealer Brush, a Smashbox Liner Brush and the Morphe 20Con palette. I then blended the crap out of that with a dampened Beauty Blender. I also added a bit of a cream highlight by tapping on some NYX Cosmetics Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator in Gleam with my fingers.

To set all that cream, I grabbed my Morphe e41, my Sigma f40 and my Morphe 06f palette. I blended once again with a Morphe m530.

For a bit of a flush, I swept some Jouer Powder Blush in Bougainvillea along my cheeks with a Sigma f15. I once again blended, this time with a Real Techniques Multi Task Brush.

Now for a killer glow. I used a Morphe m310 to layer both Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powders in Gold Digger and Illuminati.

To got the basic shape of my brows mapped out using an Anastasia Duo Brush 7 and some NYX Cosmetics Eyebrow Gel in Chocolate. I then finished them off with the same brush and some NYX Cosmetics Eyebrow Powder in Dark Brown.

I highlighted my brow bones with an e.l.f. Cosmetics Professional Eyeshadow Brush and some NYX Cosmetics Hot Singles Eyeshadow in Lace.

I tossed on some Red Cherry Lashes in 523 and a touch of Duo Eyelash Adhesive.

I finished of the look with some NYX Cosmetics Butter Gloss in Apple Strudel.

I’ll see you for Mani Monday!

February Obsessions — March 3, 2017

February Obsessions

So I’m here to share with you all the things I’ve been obsessed with this month.

Moment: I hit two years WordPress and it means so much to me! This community has brought me friends and I have learned so much!

Food I wanted to live on: Lenny & Larry’s The Complete Cookie in Birthday Cake. Finally! A cookie I can not only feel okay about eating, but that actually provides some nutrition!

The drink I wish I could replace water with: Fleur Des Templiers Malbec. So yummy! Although I do love pretty much any good red.

The accessory that’s warmed my heart: so a bunch of us at work have all the ridiculous bracelets now. And if you know me at all, you know my answer to most questions is tacos!

The piece of clothing I wanted to live in: This Forever 21 sweatshirt that says “I’d Rather Be Eating Pizza”. Perfect, right?

The skincare product that’s saved my face: Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patches. These literally draw the toxins and sebum out.

What’s left me feeling silky smooth: Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff. This body scrub is just the right amount of scrubby. Not too rough, not too soft.

The nail polish I fell in love with: OPI Nail Lacquer in On Pinks and Needles

The lip product I’ve been using again and again: sometimes when I am constantly buying new things, I forget about some old loves. I’ve rediscovered Kleancolor Madly Matte Lipgloss in Jam. Love how long wearing this is!!!

The eye popping product I loved: Ben Nye Lumiere Luxe Powder in Persimmon. Stay tuned for a look using this.

The glow that’s been giving me life: Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Gold Digger.

The new show I wish was in every night: Imposters. So excited to see what happens next!

The movie that took me by surprise: John Wick 2. Didn’t know hunk I would live this, but I totally did.

The show I binged on: Santa Clarita Diet. Soooo funny and crazy.

The song I couldn’t stop playing: Guys My Age by Hey Violet.

The book I couldn’t put down: the ads for the movie got me interested in this, so I randomly decided to read it. It turned out to be amazing!

That’s all for today! I’ll see you soon!
