Skincare Sunday

Hey!!! This week I’ll be playing with Glam Glow Gravity Mud Treatment Glitter Mask, because, well, it combines two of my favorites: skincare and glitter!

Look how pretty! It’s just a little drippy, so be careful when applying.

I like the way it feels on. Removing was easy enough, since it’s a peel off. For those of you wondering, yes, the glitter peels off as well. I did find a couple tiny pieces of glitter after, but not a huge deal.

My skin felt really nice after. I’d definitely recommend it, other than the high price point.

Face of the Day Friday — July 20, 2018

Face of the Day Friday

Hey guys! Today I’ve created something simple, and not simple at the same time. I kept the eyes neutral and clean, but did throw on a little surprise of a highlight. Anyway, here’s how I did what I did.

I started by applying Grande Lash-MD Lash Enhancing Serum and waking us my eyes with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + ECGC. I also prepped my lips with some Pure Paw Paw Ointment in Grape.

To even out my complexion, I applied some Frankie Rose Cosmetics Matte Perfection Foundation in Bare. I blended the crap out of that with a dampened Beauty Blender.

To correct the dark circles under my eyes, I applied a wee amount of Palladio Under Eyes Disguise Full Coverage Concealer in Lemonade. I also blended that in with a dampened Beauty Blender.

To cream highlight under my eyes, the center of my forehead, and the bridge of my nose, I used some LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Conceal HD Concealer in Light Ivory. And guess what! Again, I blended with a dampened Beauty Blender.

I added a little extra oomph to the highlight, and also cream contoured using a NYX Professional Makeup Wonder Stick Highlight & Contour Stick in Universal. And, last time I swear, I blended until my arms hurt using a dampened Beauty Blender.

To set all that hard work, I used to Morphe E41 Brush to sweep some RCMA No-Color Powder all over.

Then I used my fingers to apply some Unicorn Oil Illuminating Glow Elixir in Iridescent Rose to the high points of my face.

To add some more definition, I used Morphe Brushes in G18, R9 and E9 and a Morphe 06PC Palette to highlight and contour.

To fake a flush, I used a Sigma f15 Brush to sweep on some Cargo Cosmetics Water Resistant Blush in Los Cabos. I blended that out with a Real Techniques Multi Task Brush.

For the all important glow, I grabbed a Morphe M501 Brush and swept on some NYX Professional Makeup Love You So Mochi Highlighting Palette in Arcade Glam. I also patted on some Unicorn Snot Pink Glitter Gel.

Time for brows! I grabbed a Morphe M115 Brush and applied some Model in a Bottle Long Lasting Eyebrow Sealer. I then shaped and filled them in using a Morphe M413 Brush and some Inglot AMC Brow Liner Gel in 16 and 20. To clean up the edges a bit, I used some NYX Professional Makeup Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone and a Morphe M508 Brush.

For just a touch of something, I applied some LA Colors Shimmering Loose Eyeshadow in Radiant with both a Morphe M330 Brush and a Morphe E32 Brush.

For my liner, I used a Morphe E38 to add a winged liner look with some Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel in 77.

I said a prayer and doused my face in Japonesque Makeup Setting Spray.

For mascara today, I switched it up a bit and used some Lancôme Mon Sieur Big Mascara.

To finish off the look I put in some Wet n Wild Lipstick in Don’t Blink Pink and topped it with NYX Professional Makeup Duo Chromatic Shimmer Lipgloss in Lucid.

See you soon!

Thursday Thoughts: Beauty Haul — July 19, 2018

Thursday Thoughts: Beauty Haul

Hey! So today I’ll be talking about all the fun things I grabbed since last time I did one of these posts.

Avatara Calm Down Nose Pore Strip and Hydrogel Nose Mask: I was totally that girl that was suckered in by the idea of a nose strip with hearts on it.

Avatara Wipe Out Nose Pore Strip and Hydrogel Nose Mask: again. I know

Model in a Bottle Makeup Setting Spray: you already know. And I think this is even better. I feel like the spray has improved.

Jean Pierre Cucumber Makeup Remover Wipes: you know I love these.

Betty Dain Satin Pillowcase: trying this new thing where I take care of me hair

NYX Professional Makeup Love You So Mochi Shadow Palette in Electric Pastels: look for swatches soon!

Burt’s Bees Baby Shampoo & Wash: just to use as a quick brush cleaner

Floss Gloss Pro Nail Lacquer in Intergalosstic: you know I can’t stay away from Floss Gloss!

Gigi Cloth Epilating Strips: come on. We all know what these are for.

Joico K-Pak Color Therapy Dry Oil Sheen: when I need some oil and shine, but down want to be weighed down

Moroccan Oil Light Treatment: for when I need something a little more.

Moroccan Oil Perfect Defense: love, love, love this heat protectant.

Phillip B Icelandic Blonde Deep Conditioner: for when I finally get this purple out of my hair

Avatara Even Out Face Mask: because we all have those moments.

Avatara Shape Up Face Mask: because I’m getting older

Glam Glow GravityMud Firming Treatment Glitter Mask: ummmm…. skincare and glitter combined. Take my money!

Clarion Color Serum: because I obviously color my hair a lot.

Bamboo Anti-Frizz Shampoo: because ewwww, frizz!

Bamboo Anti-Frizz Conditioner: again. Ewwww, frizz!

Inked by Dani Geometric Pack Temporary Tattoos: I love to use these for Mani Mondays!

Preheels: great for show rub, even better for chub rub.

Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream: because I’m always searching for more moisture for my hair.

Diane Narrow Tint Brush: honestly? I bought this to apply glitter to my hair!

Lavender Star Dust Aloe Vera Glitter Gel in Heaven: an amazingly beautiful highlight!

Avatara No Baggage Hydrogel Eye Mask: because there’s never enough sleep.

Avatara Cool As A Cucumber Hydrogel Eye Mask: do I have to repeat myself?

Avatara Tart Orange Hydrogel Lip Mask: because we all want luscious lips.

Avatara Dainty Rose Hydrogel Lip Mask: same thing.

Karuna Hydrating+ Face Mask: moisturized skin is healthy skin.

Karuna Renewal+ Eye Mask: yep. All my lack of sleep is showing in this one post.

Phillip B Rejuvenating Oil, Peppermint Avocado Shampoo, Light-Weight Deep Conditioning Créme Rinse, and Detangling Toning Mist: supposed to be kind of the perfect combo for healthy, beautiful hair.

Stacked Skincare Dermaplaning Refill Trio: because I love dermaplaning. And you have to replace the blades.

Stacked Skincare Hydrating Gel Cleanser: I haven’t tried this yet. But Stacked Skincare has really impressed me so far. Can’t wait to try it!

Sphynx 3 in 1 Portable Razor: because sometimes you miss a spot and need to touch up.

Lipsmart: I’ve tried this before. It’s okay. But so many people love it. Figured I’d give it another try.

Grande Lips Hydrating Lip Plumper in Spicy Mauve: I’m impressed with everything else I’ve tried from Grande Cosmetics. Thought I’d give this a go.

Palladio Under Eyes Disguise Full Coverage Concealer in Vanilla Latte: my go to under eye concealer lately.

Essie Gel Setter Top Coat: the store was out of my usual top coat (Essie Gel Couture), so I’m trying this one out.

Dream Water + Beauty: again. Mostly because I need more sleep, and the other ingredients won’t hurt.

Invisibobble Traceless Hair Rings: I’m always a fan of hair things that don’t leave creases.

Lavender Star Dust Aloe Vera Glitter Gel in Violet: this one I bought for my hair.

Floss Gloss Pro Nail Lacquer in Dimepiece: because, well, Floss Gloss.

Phillip B Nordic Wood Hair + Body Shampoo: smells like a Christmas tree. Need I say more?

And that’s all! See you soon!

Thursday Thoughts: Beauty Trash — July 12, 2018

Thursday Thoughts: Beauty Trash

Hey! It’s time to dig through my trash! Let’s jump in!

Pre Heels: I already grabbed more. Works great for uncomfortable shoes… even better for uncomfortable chub rub!

Hairfinity Candilocks Chewable Hair Vitamins: yep. Two of them. I’m trying something with a slightly higher biotin amount this month, but these are definitely my go to.

Eva NYC Clean It Up Shampoo: definitely deep cleaned my hair. However I still live my clarifying shampoo from Kinky Curly.

Rad Soap Co. Renew Body Wash: this was nice. Not sure if I’ll run right out for more.

Palladio Under Eyes Disguise Full-Coverage Concealer in Vanilla Latte: already replaced it. The perfect highlight color for under my eyes.

The Ordinary “Buffet” Multi-Peptide Serum: I use this to micro roll, so I definitely need to grab more.

Acura Brilliantly Brightening Niacinamide + Kale Biocellulose Mask: ehhhhh. Just okay. Nothing bad nothing great.

Swisspers Cotton Rounds: I’ve already grabbed more cotton rounds. I use them every day. I think this time I grabbed another brand.

Huroo Huroo 4D Shape Memory Deep Hydrating Mask: finally! I think this is the last one. I really hate how these fit.

Foot Chemistry 360 Foot Mask Exfoliator: no. Didn’t work well. I’ll stick with my trusty Baby Foot.

Dream Water + Beauty 0-Calorie Beauty Sleep Shot: while yes, this knocked me out, it’s kind of expensive to have to drink every night to see if the other effects even work.

Masque Bar Oxygen Bubble Bamboo Charcoal Sheet Mask: I live for bubble masks! I will be getting more!

Acure Incredibly Clear Sheet Mask: this was nice. Not so much that I’m in a rush for more. Might be nice to have in hand, though.

Acure Radically Rejuvenating Cucumber + Silk Tree Under Eye Hydrogels: I love under eye gels. However, Skyn Iceland ones are still my go to.

Acure Seriously Soothing Hyaluronic Acid + Plant Peptides Biocellulose Mask: this was really good. Especially if I’d been smart and stuck it in the fridge first. I’ll be on the look out for more.

Masque Bar Luminizing Charcoal Peel Off Mask: I really enjoy peel off masks, and this was a good one. I’ll probably pick up more.

Jean Pierre Cucumber Makeup Remover Wipes: I love these. I like that they are alcohol free especially. I’ve already picked up some more.

Masque Bar Rose Gold Foil Sheet Mask: nope. I didn’t like how this felt on. Not in a hurry for more.

Acure Radically Rejuvenating Sheet Mask: just okay. This isn’t one Acure mask I’ll be in a hurry to get more.

Olapex No. 2 Bond Perfector: yes! Yes! Yes! If I’m not able to get more of this, I’ll have to get No. 3.

Aphogee Keratin 2 Minute Reconstructor: this stuff is amazing! I will be getting more!

Grande Mascara Lash Boosting Formula: already replaced it! Love this stuff!

Palladio Under Eyes Disguise Full-Coverage Concealer in Lemonade: while I live this product, the yellow is just a tad to dark. If the release a lighter yellow, I’ll be all about getting more.

Perricone MD No-Bronzer Bronzer: this was good. But just a wee bit messy to work with. Think I’ll keep looking for a better option.

Ben Nye Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer: I do like this stuff. I have another favorite, but I’ll grab more to have on hand just in case.

Burt’s Bees Garden Tomato Toner for Oily and Troubled Skin: no way. Absolutely no way. This stung so bad. No thanks.

Jean Pierre Aloe Makeup Remover Wipes: same with these. Love them.

Wella Color Tango Permanent Masque Hair Color in 4NB Chocolate Brown: shhhhh! Don’t tell anyone, but this is how I cover my greys. So you know I’ll be getting more.

Completely Bare All in One Travel Wax Kit: probably not this exact kit, but I did enjoy how easy the pre-waxed strips were to use.

China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat: this is okay. Except I’m loving the Essie Gel Couture Too Coat more.

Tony Moly Egg Pore Yolk Primer: this was nice, but not exactly life changing. I’m still trying to find that for me.

Brown Lab Blackheads All Clear Kit: this was good. Really good. But I think I like the Holika Holika 3-Step Pig Nose one slightly better.

Fekkai Blowout Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo: not my favorite, not the worst. Not in a hurry for more.

Grande Lash-MD Lash Enhancing Serum: this is probably one of my desert island products. I definitely need more.

Caviar Bodybuilding Volume Conditioner: I think I need to worry just a little more about more hydration these days, but this was nice.

Beauty Blenders: well. These are crusty. I’m actually trying out the Real Techniques version these days.

Adore Shining Semi-Permanent Hair Color in African Violet: this is what’s in the lengths of my hair. I love Adore dye, but this color isn’t something I’ll be returning to.

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + ECGC: you didn’t think I’d run out, right? Already replaced.

NO:HJ Aloe Mud Mask: while beautiful on, I didn’t see any real difference in my skin. Super cute selfies, though!

Wish Formula C200 Bubble Peeling Pad: love this. Will probably be picking up more.

Oribe Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray: I almost cried. I really was sad to run out. I will definitely be getting more.

Stacked Skincare Micro Roller: I tried another brand, but honestly? Wasn’t the same. Picking up another of these pronto.

Glam Glow Power Mud Dual Cleanse Treatment: ehhhh. Pretty pricey for what it is. Won’t be in a hurry for more.

Clinique Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser: good. A little harsh maybe for my taste. But then again, I’m more partial to chemical exfoliating over physical.

Wet n Wild Max Volume Plus Mascara: hmmm. This was okay. But way more options out there.

That’s all! See you soon!

Skincare Sunday

Hey! So, I’ll admit it I mostly bought this Masque Bar Rose Gold Foil Sheet Mask because it’s rose gold. Worth a shot anyway, right? And I usually lie stuff from Masque Bar.

Okay. I know I have pretty huge eyes. But the way this mask fit, it was pretty uncomfortable for me. It was like the eye holes were so small, so the serum on the mask was way too close to my eyes. The ended up watering and irritated. I ended up having the remove the sheet mask early. Overall, very disappointed in this item.

Anyway, I guess we will check out some other stuff next week! See you tomorrow for Mani Monday!
